Summary: We were very happy with this cabin! What a great experience. We arrived very lake, but access was easy and painless. The channel was also surreal at night with all the docks lit up across the water. Our favorite feature was probably the swing on the deck where we could sit and drink a morning coffee while listening to the loons. Then again I also enjoyed cooking bacon on the Blackstone while watching the great blue herons fish. Being able to enjoy the smell of my smoking pork shoulder on the Traeger while watching the bald eagles was pretty great too. If you are a boater, being on the channel gives you access to all the lakes while protecting your own boat in a sheltered spot where you can also watch all the boats drive past. My kids loved the sandy bottom shore with tons of curious fish. We all enjoyed the fact that there were tubes to use when our own tube sprung a leak. Being able to kayak and paddle board while watching the sunrise was also a highlight. My spouse loved the very clean and modern interior with tons of space for everyone. Almost forgot, who doesn't love a warm bidet on a cold morning? When we left, the ice maker provided us with plenty of ice to keep our food cold on the way home. My kids were looking forward to using the fire pit, but we had so much to do, we never got to that. On a rainy day, we had games to play and also went into town to check out the coffee shops and my kids especially loved the model railway museum and mini golfing in Crosslake.
